Employer Service Options

ExecQuest, Inc. offers several different options to its clients depending on the Client’s current circumstance.  Many ExecQuest, Inc. clients utilize more than one approach in meeting their recruitment objectives.

Executive Search   Interim Management Sourcing   Critical Access Hospital Consulting

Executive Search

All Executive Search engagements are undertaken on behalf of client companies on an exclusive basis with the goal of locating the most highly qualified candidates available who meet our client’s requirements.  ExecQuest, Inc. is totally dedicated to achieving success for our clients.  Clients of ExecQuest, Inc. can expect to receive our loyalty, our support, and our total effort on their behalf.  We are acutely aware that our success is a direct reflection of our client's success, both now and in the future.

ExecQuest, Inc.'s two primary areas of focus are in the Healthcare and Energy Industries.  Our firm has a significant track record in the Healthcare Industry, including a database of over 18,000 contacts.  In addition, our firm has also developed a major presence in the Energy Industry, with many years of experience and dedication to that sector alone.

Depending on the level of the engagement, ExecQuest, Inc. offers it’s clients several search options:

Each Executive Search engagement undertaken for a client includes the following six action items:

1)                  1.  Position Identification and Clarification

2)                  2.  Candidate Identification and Development

3)                  3.  Candidate Evaluation and Motivation

4)                  4.  Written and Verbal Candidate Presentation (includes references and degree verification)

5)                  5.  Offer Generation and Assistance with Acceptance

6)                  6.  Candidate after-hire follow up (3, 6, 9, and 12 months)

Clients receive progress reports weekly for the duration of the Search.

If the client has candidates that they have sourced on their own, or internal candidates which they wish to have evaluated during the search, ExecQuest, Inc. will, once the position is under search, include these candidates as part of it’s normal search process.  Should the client eventually hire one of these candidates, as opposed to a candidate developed by ExecQuest, Inc., any search engagement completion fee due would be waived.

All Executive Search fees are negotiated with the client on a flat-rate basis at the inception of the engagement.  ExecQuest, Inc. does NOT adjust its fee at the completion of the search engagement.  Multiple engagements from the same client (at the same time) are discounted on an individual assignment basis.

Interim Management Sourcing

Through ExecQuest, Inc.’s extensive network within the healthcare industry, the firm is able to provide introductions to independent consultants who are available for short-term projects or for interim management needs.

ExecQuest, Inc. employs the same techniques used to fill permanent openings to screen, qualify and match these consultants to the needs of the clients.

Features include:

  • Pricing is a pre-project negotiated amount that is due only upon completion of project and is based on actual time worked by the consultant.

  • There is a Temp-to-Perm option that allows client to hire the individual consultant into a permanent position with their company.  If this option is chosen, ExecQuest, Inc. will apply any paid fees it has collected toward the total service fee agreement for permanent placement.  This does not include salary or other compensation paid directly to the consultant from the client.  Any Temp-to-Perm employments are billed at 25 percent of the total estimated annual compensation.

Critical Access Hospital Consulting

Across our nation in every state, small, rural hospitals are closing at an alarming rate.  Declining Medicare/Medicaid reimbursements have made it nearly impossible for smaller hospitals to continue operating.

The Medicare Rural Hospital Flexibility Program, a federal program enacted as part of the Balanced Budget Amendment of 1997, seeks to reverse this trend.  Under this program, hospitals are reimbursed for medical services administered under the Medicare program on a cost-basis instead of the traditional prospective-payment system basis.  With an average of 40 percent of rural patients covered by Medicare, the increase in revenues could be significant.  Reimbursements for Medicaid services are unchanged.

As a trade-off, hospitals must narrow their focus to providing emergency and short-term care, thereby becoming Critical Access Hospitals.  Doctors benefit from the program as well since mid-level practitioners can administer emergency room care.  This helps ease the burden on often over-worked rural doctors by helping with physician retention.

At Critical Access Hospital Consulting, a division of ExecQuest, Inc., we match experienced consultants with rural hospitals seeking to become designated as a Critical Access Hospital.  The consultants will guide your hospital through every step of the process from application to designation and for yearly audits thereafter.

Our consultants have guided other rural hospitals through the designation process and have a thorough understanding of the procedures, regulations and requirements.  At Critical Access Hospital Consulting, we can make the designation process as simple as possible.
